Kamil Gojowy

Graduate in musical arts: Choral conducting and general music subjects (diploma with honors obtained at the Academy of Music in Katowice) and in theater and film: Creative management in new media (diploma with honors obtained at the University of Silesia in Katowice). Postgraduate student of Master of Business Administration – Culture Manager at the Collegium Humanum in Warsaw.

Conductor of the Apertum Cor Singing Ensemble, 2nd Conductor of the Choir of the University of Economics in Katowice and Cantabo Verbum Project Choir.
He has released five albums and one with his own arrangements of Polish patriotic songs for men’s choir, string quartet, piano and organ, “Pax et Bonum Tibi Polonia” (2018), created on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining independence. The latest phonographic publication is “Henryk Mikołaj Górecki – From Church Songs for mixed choir a cappella” created for the 90th anniversary of the composer’s birth (2023).

Member of the Main Board of the Silesian Association of Choirs and Orchestras (Member of the European Choral Association) – Coordinator for organization and promotion.
Member of the Main Board of the Artifices Artificibus Association: Organizational Director of the International Choir Night Festival in Ruda Śląska, Artistic Director of the “Symphonic-Coffee Christmas Carol Experiment” project.

Member of the Euforis Association of Artists: Coordinator of the National Conference I HAVE A VOICE, expert in the I HAVE A VOICE Initiative.
Ambassador of the Chórtownia Foundation: Creative Director of the International Music Action – Support for people with depression.

Professionally associated with the Coal Mining Museum in Zabrze (specialist in organizing cultural events), the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School in Katowice (lecturer) and the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra (temporary speaker).
